KA-BAR Foliage Green model 5012 offers an oval shaped non-slip Kraton G elastomer handle which provides for better control during use even in wet conditions.

The 7″ full tang combo edge blade is epoxy powder coated to protect against corrosion and is constructed of (1095) Cro-Van steel, and the blade has a [HRC 56-58] hardness rating.

The knife’s blade is flat ground sharpened to 20 / 20 degrees with buff polished edges for better edge retention and provides an excellent cutting edge.

KA-BAR Fighting Utility Knives were designed and built to meet military specifications and use.

The partially serrated section of the blade provides easy cutting with tough materials such as braided or nylon rope.

The metal butt caps & carbon steel guards are both powder coated to prevent corrosion.

The knife also comes with a Molle compatible KA-BAR / foliage green hard shell multiple position carry plastic sheath constructed to be resistant to salt water and provides a hard surface which protects the knife during use in rough terrains.
